The hugely popular ‘Light up an Angel’ returns this Christmas to Liverpool Cathedral. This year as well as seeing your personalised decoration lit up on one of our Christmas trees, you could win 2 tickets for the Heritage Tour.
Always a sight to behold at Christmas time, the magical twinkling lights that adorn the cathedral Christmas trees are admired by hundreds of visitors over the festive period. If you are looking for a unique and thoughtful Christmas gift that also benefits the upkeep of our great space then look no further.
You can have a name or message inscribed onto a beautiful glass decoration, which will be placed on a lighted tree in the Cathedral throughout the Christmas period. You will receive a certificate and can take your decoration home to keep in the New Year. The attractive angel decoration can be ordered right up until 12 noon on Christmas Eve. Also new for this year is a new Angel design featuring a snowflake.
Your gift of £30 will go to the Cathedral Foundation, which helps keep the Cathedral free to visitors, funds our choral music at Christmas and throughout the year and goes towards the upkeep of the building.

Heritage Tour Prize Draw Details
Anyone who chooses to light up an angel this year will automatically be entered into a prize draw. The winner will be chosen at random in the draw which will take place on Christmas Eve. The winner will receive 2 tickets to go on the Heritage Tour and will become a Heritage Angel with a brick in the people’s path.
