All Saints Centre for Mission and Ministry
All Saints Centre for Mission and Ministry is a theological training institution with teaching centres across the North West, including Liverpool. It specialises in local part-time training for lay and ordained ministry in the Church of England. Aiming to equip every student to be, under God, the best disciple, Reader, Deacon or Priest they can be, it provides theological education and ministerial formation that are:
- Community-based and rooted in local contexts across the North West;
- Accessible and inclusive;
- Offered part-time to fit around a busy lifestyle;
- Focused on the formation of Christian faith and character;
- Structured around Scripture, prayer and worship, and that
- Seek to honour God through Jesus Christ.
It prepares students for fruitful ministry by connecting training with the vital concerns of our times.
St Mellitus NW
St Mellitus College, North West was formed as a partnership with the five North West Dioceses of Blackburn, Carlisle, Chester, Liverpool and Manchester in 2013. It is the first full-time ordination college in the North West since St Aidan’s College, Birkenhead (1846-1969). They aim to equip people from all walks of life for ministry and leadership.
