Many people include a brick in our People’s Path in their gifts. Set up to envelop the outside of Liverpool Cathedral, the People’s Path tells the story of those who’ve helped maintain and support one of the city’s most iconic buildings and your brick will continue this tradition.
There are three main ways you can leave a gift in your will to Liverpool Cathedral:
- A residuary gift - A share of whatever is left after all debts have been settled and other gifts made.
- A pecuniary gift - A gift of a fixed sum of money.
- A specific gift - A gift of a particular item, for example, a ring or a house, with the understanding that these items may be sold unless there is an express prior agreement.
Direct your support where the need is greatest
Many of the gifts we receive which are unrestricted are added to Liverpool Cathedral’s endowment fund. This is important because it enables us to use the funds on the most urgent need for the Cathedral for hundreds of years to come.
Support a particular area of our work
We recognise that people have long standing connections with the many of the amazing things that happen at Liverpool Cathedral. Past legacies have supported our music department, helped refurbish the organ, and even looked after our bells.
