We give thanks for Zone2 as it closes it's virtual doors after ten years of faithful service

Zone 2 closed its virtual doors on Easter Day 2021 following ten years as a cafe style service for all ages

Since the beginning of Covid-19 restrictions, Zone 2 has been faithfully and creatively on-line with a live-hosted service most Sundays. You can still view these on the Zone 2 FaceBook page: https://www.facebook.com/welcometozone2/

The team has found it exhilarating but quite exhausting trying to maintain the challenge of taking a very participatory service on-line; especially given the current additional challenges with personal, family and professional responsibilities in their lives. As a result, we have decided that we need to allow the team to have a break from Zone 2 and to take some time out for their own refreshment.

The picture several of the team has had is from John 12:24 – of the seed falling to the ground and ‘dying’. But with the promise of new life springing from it at some point in the future. At this time, we do not know what that ‘new life’ will look like and when it will start to sprout. Please pray with us all as, waiting upon God, we discern that over the coming months.
